Greengate Farms currently has the best staff we have had in our 50 years of business. The knowledge and experience of our staff is simply amazing. We are extremely proud of our employees and pleased to have them as part of our family.

Dorothy Stream

Dorothy has been the driving force behind Jay and Greengate Farms for over 50 years. She has served on the Arabian Horse Trust Board and is currently on the All Nations Cup Board along with countless other contributions to the Breed. She and Jay have traveled the world on behalf of WAHO, her knowledge and experience with the Arabian horse is nothing short of amazing. Dorothy is actively involved in the farm and the breeding program.

Linda Stream

Linda is the reason Greengate Farms came into existence. As a child Linda dreamed of having a horse and that dream turned into Greengate Farms! Linda has lived all aspects of the horse business and has incredible knowledge of the Arabian Horse.

Laurie Thomsen

Laurie has been the Breeding Manager for Greengate Farms for 27 years! Laurie has dedicated her life to caring for the horses and our breeding program. Laurie’s expertise of breeding, foaling and foal handling is second to none. Aside from the horses Laurie also is a phenomenal photographer, she takes many of the photos for the farm and spending time with her Cocker Spaniels.

Christie Hart

Christie is Linda’s daughter and has been a lifelong horse lover. Christie has shown horses since before she could walk and has earned over 30 National Awards in a variety of disciplines with Greengate bred horses. Christie has recently gotten her “r” Arabian Judges card and has served in our local Arabian Club. Christie also does all of our advertising and marketing along with daily horse duties.

Jason McGee

Jason is in charge of the business aspects of Greengate Farms and Stream Associates, as well as putting up with Christie. Jason brings an extensive business background with him and also has developed a strong interest in the horses and the history of Greengate Farms.

Summer Chapman

Summer has had an impressive career garnering countless Regional and National Awards in more than 10 disciplines and has worked with some of the industries greatest horseman. We look forward to many succesful show seasons with Greengate bred horses and with Summer as our resident trainer.

Moey

Moey has had a long history with Greengate. She worked for us beginning in the early 80’s for 10 years. On her long lunch as we like to call it, Mo worked as a Registered Vet Tech and brings a wealth of knowledge back with her. We are absolutely thrilled to have her back! Aside from horses Moey enjoys training and showing her National Winning dogs in Agility, Conformation and Obedience.

Alex

Alex is the newest member of our team. She hails from Tucson, Arizona. A lifelong horse lover and has shown as a Youth exhibitor. Alex works in our Show Barn keeping our show horses looking like superstars! She is a wonderful person and a hard worker; we are happy to have her as part of our family!
